CST Testing

Students in Grades 9, 10, and 11 will be taking the California Standards Tests beginning on May 22 and ending on May 24. The schedule for the week of May 21 is as follows:

Monday, May 21

Late start traditional bell schedule

8:30 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.

Tuesday, May 22

CST English Language Arts Exam	7:55-9:20
Break	9:20-9:35
CST English Language Arts Exam (continued)	9:40-11:20
Students in Grade 9 released from school at 11:20 a.m.
Lunch	11:20-11:50
CST World History Exam (Grade 10) & CST U.S. History Exam (Grade 11)	11:55-12:50
Students in Grades 10 & 11 released from school at 12:50 p.m.

Wednesday, May 23

CST Math Exam	7:55-9:25
Break	9:25-9:40
CST Math Exam (continued)	9:45-11:30
Students in Grade 9 will be released from school at 11:30 a.m.
Lunch	11:30-12:00
CST World History Exam (Grade 10) & CST U.S. History Exam (Grade 11)	12:05-1:00
Students in Grades 10 & 11 will be released from school at 1:00 p.m.

CST End of Science Course Exam (continued)	9:15-10:15
Students in Grades 9 & 11 will be released from school at 10:15 a.m.

CST Life Science Exam (Grade 10 only)	10:35-12:35
CMA Life Science (Grade 10 only)	10:35-1:05
Students in Grades 10 will be released from school at 12:35 p.m. or 1:05 p.m. depending on whether student participates in the CMA.

Friday, May 25

Late start, traditional bell schedule

8:30 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.

Students in Grade 12 have the option of completing the following activities during CST Testing:

Finish Senior Project experience hours and summary of experience (required for some students)
Work on completing Senior Project Power Point Presentation
Complete outstanding community service hours necessary to fulfill graduation requirement

EHS Medical Academy

Students involved in Estancia's Medical Academy visited UCI on Friday, May 4. Students participated in hands-on laboratory activities including the DaVinci Robot and Ross Robot, ultrasound and open suturing with surgeons, residents, medical students, and undergraduate volunteers. Estancia students were fortunate to end the day with a personal tour of the emergency room at UCI from their ROP Emergency Responder teacher, Mr. Yuuki. What an amazing experience for our students!
